Shadow Forest PTA helps to raise money annually for supplemental educational programs, reading materials, science and technology equipment, field trips, speakers, and other items that supplement Shadow Forest Elementary students’ curriculum. These programs are made possible through the generous support and donations from individuals and businesses like you.

We appreciation your willingness to support our students and/or our fundraising events such as our main fundraising event of the year - SharkFest, and supporting our 5th graders events as they graduate elementary school.

SharkFest

SharkFest is the main PTA fundraiser event of the year! Join us in the Spring with your family and friends for a Carnival at Shadow Forest Elementary. During the week there are many fun activities -- like lunch raffle prizes for the kids and a silent auction. Then on Friday Night, join us at SFE for carnival rides, food and amazing raffle prize drawings. There is so much fun to be had during SharkFest!

5th Grade

Contribute additional funds to go towards decorations and other enhancements at the 5th Grade Manners Banquet. If any funds remain after the banquet, they will be used to decorate and enhance the 5th Grade Celebration of Learning in May 2026.

Shadow Forest Elementary PTA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization, and contributions are tax-deductible as allowed by IRS regulations.

Parents, grandparents, faculty, students, and community members are all welcome to join SFE PTA! 
Your PTA membership is valid from the day you register and pay your dues through July 31 each year.
 
      SFE PTA dues are $10.00 per member. 
 
Your dues and funds help SFE PTA support SFE in many ways. For a list of just some of the programs and events your dues pay for, visit the Programs & Events tab of this site.

Being a volunteer is a great way to get involved in your child’s school, meet other parents, and have fun. You do not have to be a PTA member to be a volunteer.  
 
Humble ISD requires all volunteers to complete an application and background check. Visit humbleisd.net/volunteer to complete that step. This needs to be done each school year. 
 
Fill out the Volunteer Sign Up and select the opportunities that appeal to you. Additional opportunities may come up throughout the year as well.
