SharkFest is the PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year!


In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, this year’s SharkFest will feature special patriotic touches that highlight unity, community, and Shark pride.


Join us on March 27 with your family and friends for an unforgettable carnival at Shadow Forest Elementary-fun for all ages and a great way to support our school!

 

 

 

  • Raffle tickets (both for at the carnival and for the kid's raffle at lunch), family sponsorships, and T-Shirt sales can only be purchased ONLINE. Carnival Tickets can be purchased online in advance or on-site at the Ticket Booths (pricing will differ).
  • Tickets sales online go live February 20th. 
  • All Items must be ordered through the PTA website. 
  • Students must have carnival tickets to participate in rides, games, food, and activities.

  • Purchase online at the SFE PTA website between February 20th and March 22 at 9pm. 
  • Tickets will be sent home with students on March 24th- March 25th
  • Families with multiple students can select which child will bring tickets home. 
  • All rides, games, food, and activities require tickets. 
  • Cash/ Card only accepted for on-site Ticket Purchases
  • Early Bird Bonus: Order Carnival Tickets online by Friday, March 13 and receive 5 FREE bonus tickets!

 

Carnival Ticket Prices

Online ONLY: Ticket Sales will open February 20th! 

  • 10 Tickets -- $8 (thru March 22 at 9 PM) 
  • 50 Tickets -- $40 (thru March 22 at 9 PM)

On-Site day of at SharkFest Carnival: Cash or Card

  • 10 Tickets -- $10
  • 50 Tickets -- $50

 

 

Student Lunch Raffle

This is a raffle for Students ONLY. Baskets will be displayed during student lunches. 

 

Purchasing Lunch Raffle Tickets: 

  • Purchased online only by March 25th
  • Each raffle ticket costs $.50. Minimum purchase = $1. 

How to Enter: 

  • Students receive tickets during lunchtime and select baskets to enter during lunch.

Winners Announced:  

  • Winners announced during school Friday March 27th.
  • Parent's/Guardian will be contacted to arrange pick up of the winning baskets. 
 

Family Carnival Raffle

The Carnival Raffle is available for families to participate. Baskets displayed at SharkFest Carnival. 

 

Purchasing Carnival Raffle Tickets:

  • Raffle Tickets Available online or at the Ticket Booth during SharkFest. 

How to Enter: 

  • Students will be assigned a random number that will need to be written on the back of their tickets BEFORE tickets are dropped into the drawing. (This makes it easier than writing full contact info on each ticket!)
  • For pre-purchased tickets, your student's raffle ticket number will be provided in envelope that tickets are sent home in. (Booklets with student numbers will be available at the carnival raffle tables for reference). 
  • At the SharkFest Carnival, place tickets in the bucket for the basket(s) you would like to win. 

Winners Announced:  

  • The winners of the Carnival Raffle will be announced at the end of SharkFest. If not present during the drawing, prizes will be sent home with the students the following school day.

  • Delivered home with students the week of SharkFest
  • Sizes available: Youth XS- Adult XXL. 
  • Don't wait! Shirts are NOT sold at SharkFest - ONLY via pre-order. 

 

SharkFest is the PTA's biggest fundraising event of the year! It cost the PTA money to purchase the food, book the vendors, get the prizes for the raffle, etc. We would LOVE to give as much of the money earned from SharkFest back to the school. One of the best ways to support Shadow Forest, the PTA, and SharkFest is through our Family and Business Sponsorships. 

 

 

 

 

 Donations are Welcome and Needed!

  • Shop our Amazon Wish List to help donate towards the lunch raffle and the carnival raffle baskets. 
  • Gift cards, new unopened items, and gift certificates are also welcome! 
  • Drop-offs are accepted in the SFE front office foyer no later than March 13.

Parents, grandparents, faculty, students, and community members are all welcome to join SFE PTA! 
Your PTA membership is valid from the day you register and pay your dues through July 31 each year.
 
      SFE PTA dues are $10.00 per member. 
 
Your dues and funds help SFE PTA support SFE in many ways. For a list of just some of the programs and events your dues pay for, visit the Programs & Events tab of this site.

Being a volunteer is a great way to get involved in your child’s school, meet other parents, and have fun. You do not have to be a PTA member to be a volunteer.  
 
Humble ISD requires all volunteers to complete an application and background check. Visit humbleisd.net/volunteer to complete that step. This needs to be done each school year. 
 
Fill out the Volunteer Sign Up and select the opportunities that appeal to you. Additional opportunities may come up throughout the year as well.
