SharkFest is the PTA’s biggest fundraiser of the year!


In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, this year’s SharkFest will feature special patriotic touches that highlight unity, community, and Shark pride.


Join us on Friday, March 27 from 5:30-8:30 PM with your family and friends for an unforgettable carnival at Shadow Forest Elementary-fun for all ages and a great way to support our school!

 

 

 

 

  • Student lunch raffle tickets, family sponsorships, and T-Shirt sales can only be purchased ONLINE. 
  • Carnival tickets and Carnival raffle tickets can be purchased ONLINE in advance OR ON-SITE at the Ticket Booths (pricing will differ for the on-site carnival tickets).
  • Tickets sales online go live February 20th. 
  • All Items must be ordered through the PTA website. 
  • Students must have carnival tickets to participate in rides, games, food, and activities.

  • Purchase online at the SFE PTA website between February 20th and March 22 at 9pm. 
  • Tickets will be sent home with students on March 24th- March 25th
  • Families with multiple students can select which child will bring tickets home. 
  • All rides, games, and activities require tickets.
  • Some food (like the snack shack) will only be available via tickets. Some food vendors may only be available via cash/card. More information to come once vendors are finalized. 
  • Cash/ Card only accepted for on-site Ticket Purchases
  • Early Bird Bonus: Order Carnival Tickets online by Friday, March 13 and receive 5 FREE bonus tickets!
  • All tickets sales are final and are non-refundable.
  • If tickets are connected and are the same number, then it counts as two tickets.

Student Lunch Raffle

This is a raffle for Students ONLY. Baskets will be displayed during student lunches March 24-March 27. Tickets will be delivered to each student (individually not per family) during their lunchtime.

 

Purchasing Lunch Raffle Tickets: 

  • Only available to purchase ONLINE between February 20th and March 25th at 9 PM. As you order the tickets you'll submit the student name and homeroom teacher. Please add each student's lunch raffle tickets to the cart SEPARATELY - this ensures each student will receive their purchased tickets.
  • Each raffle ticket costs $.50. Minimum purchase = $1. 
  • All ticket numbers are linked to your student.

How to Enter: 

  • Students receive tickets during lunchtime and select baskets to enter during lunch.
  • Ticket number is linked to student name and homeroom teacher as entered in during ticket purchase - there is no need for students to write their name on the tickets.  

Winners Announced:  

  • Winners announced during school Friday March 27th.
  • Parent's/Guardian will be contacted to arrange pick up of the winning baskets. 

 

Family Carnival Raffle

The Carnival Raffle is available for families and attendees at the Carnival to participate. Baskets displayed at SharkFest. Winners chosen towards the end of the SharkFest Carnival on March 27th.

 

Purchasing Carnival Raffle Tickets:

  • Raffle Tickets Available online or at the Ticket Booth during SharkFest (cash or card). 
  • Each ticket = $1. 
  • Family name and Phone number will be requested during purchase. All ticket numbers are linked to the family name so we can contact winners quickly.
  • Student name and homeroom teacher will be requested during online purchase. Tickets purchased online will be sent home with one student. Student will receive an envelope of the tickets the week of SharkFest during school. This year, there will NOT be will-call ticket pick up.
  • Every carnival raffle ticket = one raffle entry. (If raffle tickets are connected and are the same number, then it counts as two entries.)

How to Enter: 

  • The ticket number is already linked to the family name + phone number from when the tickets were purchased. There is no need to add contact info on the ticket. OPTIONAL: If you’d like tickets assigned to specific students or family members, write their first name on the back of each ticket.
  • Drop the tickets into the raffle container(s) of your choice during SharkFest.

Winners Announced:  

  • At the end of SharkFest a ticket number is drawn.
  • We'll use the family name + phone number from the linked ticket number to confirm the winner. (Optional: If a name is written on the back of the ticket, that tells which specific family member receives the prize.)
  • The winners of the Carnival Raffle will be announced at the end of SharkFest. If not present during the drawing, winner will be contacted to arrange pick up of the basket.

 

 

 

Sharkfest 2026 T-shirts

  • Order Online between February 20th and March 13th at 9PM. During purchase, please enter the student's name and homeroom teacher for t-shirt delivery. 
  • $15 each
  • Delivered home with students the week of SharkFest.
  • Sizes available: Youth XS- Adult XXL.

SharkFest is the PTA's biggest fundraising event of the year! It cost the PTA money to purchase the food, book the vendors, get the prizes for the raffle, etc. We would LOVE to give as much of the money earned from SharkFest back to the school. One of the best ways to support Shadow Forest, the PTA, and SharkFest is through our Family and Business Sponsorships. 

 

 


 

 Donations are Welcome and Needed!

  • Shop our Amazon Wish List to help donate towards the lunch raffle and the carnival raffle baskets. 
  • Gift cards, new unopened items, and gift certificates are also welcome! 
  • Drop-offs are accepted in the SFE front office foyer no later than March 13.

Parents, grandparents, faculty, students, and community members are all welcome to join SFE PTA! 
Your PTA membership is valid from the day you register and pay your dues through July 31 each year.
 
      SFE PTA dues are $10.00 per member.

Being a volunteer is a great way to get involved in your child’s school, meet other parents, and have fun. You do not have to be a PTA member to be a volunteer.  
 
Humble ISD requires all volunteers to complete an application and background check. Visit humbleisd.net/volunteer to complete that step. This needs to be done each school year. 
 
Fill out the Volunteer Sign Up and select the opportunities that appeal to you. Additional opportunities may come up throughout the year as well.
