Back to School Checklist

 

Start of school got ya' feeling overwhelmed? Here's a quick checklist of things to do to ensure each SFE Shark is ready for the school year! Click on each of the steps below for a direct link to get each item on your checklist completed.

  1. Pay SFE Activity Fee . 
    • Activity fee is paid or the School through Revtrak. It supports teacher classrooms and helps to pay bus/ field trip fees
  2. Pay Class Party Fee .
    • Party fee is paid on the PTA website. It supports the class parties (in Dec. And Feb). And works to build up funds in the grade level account to support 5th grade traditions. 
  3. Join the PTA 
    • Parents, Guardians, Students, Friends, Family, Teachers, & Community Members all can join. Only $10. Each membership supports amazing experiences for every student, every day. 
  4. Complete the Humble ISD Volunteer Application.
    • Must be done each year before you can volunteer on campus/ chaperone a field trip. Form is specific to SFE. 
  5. Purchase Headphones
    • Students need headphones for each day in class. Can purchase on Humble ISD website or provide plug in headphones for each student
  6. Order School Spirit Shirt
    • This is the School Theme Shirt. Spirit days are on Fridays (wear Shadow Forest Elem clothes).
    • Deadline: August 30
    • Be on the lookout for the PTA Spirit Wear fundraiser that will be coming early September!)
  7. Order a Recorder (for grades 4-5)
