Super Kids Day

Super Kids Day is scheduled for May 1st. As weather is looking like it may not be very good, we will notify by Thursday April 30th if we are going to be moving it to the rain day -- which is on May 15th. 

 

General schedule: 

8:15-9:15 am: Kindergarten = Back Field. 3rd Grade= Front fields

9:15 - 10:15 am: 1st Grade = Back Field. 4th Grade = Front Fields

10:15 - 11:15 am: 2nd Grade = Back Field. 5th Grade = Front Fields

12:00 - 1:00 pm: 3rd Grade = Back Field. Kindergarten = Front Fields

1:00 - 2:00 pm: 4th Grade = Back Field. 1st Grade = Front Fields

2:00 - 3:00 pm: 5th Grade = Back Field. 2nd Grade = Front Fields

 

Super Kids Day Shirts: Shirt orders have already been sent out and completed. Coach Lee is the point of contact if you are wanting to see if there are additional t-shirts to purchase day of. Pre-purchased shirts will be delivered by April 30th and come home with with your students. 

 

Volunteers needed: 

Complete an Humble ISD background check (if you have not already), and sign up for a shift shift here: morning shift, afternoon shift, popsicle shift.

 

Fundraiser Results

Thank you so much for supporting the SharkFest Carnival Fundraiser as well as the Online Auction. Between the two events we were able to raise $22,286!!

Teacher Appreciation Week:

Teacher appreciation week is almost here! We could use your help to celebrate the amazing SFE staff that we have. 

 

Sunday May 3rd: Please help us "chalk the walk". Come to the school at any time and write messages of appreciation on the sidewalks with chalk!

 

Monday May 4th: We are looking for donations for our "Rise and Fly" staff breakfast. If you are able/willing to donate please sign up. Teacher Appreciation Breakfast Sign Up

 

Anytime throughout the week: Find a way that you can help us show the SFE staff how amazing and "out of this world" they are! Be sure to check out the Teacher & Staff's Favorite Things List for ideas! 

Order 2026-2027 School Supplies:

What Is
The PTA?

 

The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an organization that focuses on improving the experience of our students.

 

PTAs promote communication between home and school, organize enrichment activities and family events, and raise funds for school programs and supplies.

 

Who can/should join the PTA?

 

All parents/guardians (working or stay at home), staff, grandparents, teachers and members of the community are welcome to join.

 

Joining the PTA (even just by paying the PTA dues) is supporting the school. Your children and community NEED you!

 

What benefits are there for joining?

  

First and foremost - studies have shown that kids do better in school when they know there is a parent/guardian supporting them. 

 

As a PTA member some additional benefits include:

  • Access to the online student directory
  • First to hear of opportunities to volunteer and get involved
  • Chance to voice your opinions and ideas at general PTA meetings

Pay Your Student's Class Party Fee

 

The PARTY FEE is paid to SFE PTA for the Friendship Party and Winter Party.

 

We ask that all families contribute whether they choose to join SFE PTA or not.

 

K- 4th Grade = $10 per student

5th Grade = $35 per student 

*In addition to the Friendship and Winter parties - 5th Grade students also have a special Manners Banquet.

You must create an account and add your student to your account before paying your party fee. If you are unable to add a student, please follow these directions.

 

 

Please Note: the "Class Party Fee" and the "Activity Fee" are DIFFERENT. 

 

They are paid on DIFFERENT sites so that the money is budgeted correctly. 

 

 

The ACTIVITY FEE is paid to SFE (through RevTrak) and is used by classroom teachers to purchase materials and supplies that are used for lessons and activities for instruction.

 

K- 5th Grade = $20 per student

Being a volunteer is a great way to get involved in your child’s school, meet other parents/guardians, and have fun!

 

**You do not have to be a PTA member to be a volunteer.**

Parents, grandparents, faculty, students, and community members are all welcome to join SFE PTA! 
Your PTA membership is valid from the day you register and pay your dues through July 31 each year.
 
      SFE PTA dues are $10.00 per member.

Being a volunteer is a great way to get involved in your child’s school, meet other parents, and have fun. You do not have to be a PTA member to be a volunteer.  
 
Humble ISD requires all volunteers to complete an application and background check. Visit humbleisd.net/volunteer to complete that step. This needs to be done each school year. 
 
Fill out the Volunteer Sign Up and select the opportunities that appeal to you. Additional opportunities may come up throughout the year as well.
