Board of Directors 

President: Lacey Fisher

Role as the PTA President:

  • Promotes collaboration between families, the school, and the community to support student success. 
  • Leads the Executive board.
  • Presides over meetings -  serving as the official spokesperson.
  • Coordinates board members and delegates tasks to committee chairs
  • Ensures PTA bylaws and policies are followed

Aide to President: Stacy Parker

Role as the Aid to the PTA President:

  • Primary aid to the PTA president and assumes their responsibilities when they are absent. 
  • Assists the president with leadership tasks (working directly with committee chairs, oversees various programs, and monitors their progress).

Role as the PTA Secretary:

  • Assists with the administrative and communication tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the PTA. 
  • Record-keeping of general PTA meetings

Treasurer: Erin Snook

Role as the PTA Treasurer:

  • Assists in the financial tasks and helps ensure accuracy and transparency in the organization's financial records. 
  • Helps to collect and count money from fundraisers and other activities. 
  • Records all income and expenses. 
  • Maintains accurate financial records such as receipts, invoices, and payment authorizations.
  • Provides support during audits.

VP of Membership: Marcus Dortch

Role as the VP of Membership:

  • Responsible for growing and maintaining the PTA's member base by planning and implementing membership campaigns, recruiting new members, and collecting dues. 
  • Promotes the benefits of PTA membership and its mission throughout the year. 
  • Provides regular updates and reports on membership progress to the PTA board and at meetings.  

VP of Ways and Means: Julieta Sandoval-Paredes

Role as the VP of Ways and Means:

  • Oversees all income-generating activities such as auctions, spirit nights, and direct donations. 
  • Manages and coordinates committee chairs for specific fundraising events. 
  • Oversees fundraising budgets and ensures that funds are spent in accordance with the PTA's goals. 
  • Attends meetings and provides reports of the progress of fundraising activities to the executive board and general PTA members.  

VP of Programs:  Linda Hamdan

Role as the VP of Programs:

  • Coordinates all programs of the association and community focus programs
  • Meets regularly with committee chair
  • Member of Executive Board

VP of Volunteers: Candice Herbert

Role as the VP of Volunteers:

  • Recruits, organizes, and schedules support volunteers for all PTA events and activities throughout the year. 
  • Works closely with committee chairs and the school to identify needs, post sign up forms, and acts as a liaison to the volunteers and school staff. 

Aide to Volunteers: Gina Grudovich

Role as the Aid to Volunteers:

  • Assists the VP of Volunteers in coordinating and managing parent and community volunteers for PTA events and activities.  

Parliamentarian: Sarah Dill

Role as the Parliamentarian: 

  • Advises on questions of parliamentary procedure
  • Responsible for maintaining the association's Bylaws and Standing Rules
  • Chairs Bylaws Review Committee and updates annually as needed
  • Member of Executive board, appointed by President, does not vote.

Parents, grandparents, faculty, students, and community members are all welcome to join SFE PTA! 
Your PTA membership is valid from the day you register and pay your dues through July 31 each year.
 
      SFE PTA dues are $10.00 per member.

Being a volunteer is a great way to get involved in your child’s school, meet other parents, and have fun. You do not have to be a PTA member to be a volunteer.  
 
Humble ISD requires all volunteers to complete an application and background check. Visit humbleisd.net/volunteer to complete that step. This needs to be done each school year. 
 
Fill out the Volunteer Sign Up and select the opportunities that appeal to you. Additional opportunities may come up throughout the year as well.
